Where Susan's Photo Can Be Seen

Susan's photos and/or her photo notecards can be seen at about 20 art shows throughout the year and at the galleries and shops listed below the art show schedule.

ART SHOWS

Here is our show list for 2010 as it is shaping up so far. As before, it has changed a bit this year, adding some new and, as our schedule changes, dropping some old.   If you don't find a show listed that is convenient for you, be sure to check back regularly because more shows will be added throughout the year.

January 30 and 31 -- "IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts" in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The 34th annual juried "Images: A Festival of the Arts" will be held on Riverside Drive, adjacent to Riverside Park. Show hours will be:

                                  Saturday, January 30 -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                   Sunday, January 31 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

February 13 to 15 -- "Southeastern Wildlife Exposition" in Charleston, S.C. This exposition, now in its 27th year, brings wildlife artists of all genres to Charleston every February. This year Susan's photos will be in a new location, the Atrium of the Embassy Suites Hotel on Marion Square.  Exhibits will be open:

                                  Friday, February 12 -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                                Saturday Februay 13-- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                                 Sunday, February 14-- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.



March 5, 6 and 7 -- The Craftsmen's Classic spring art and craft show, held indoors at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia, S.C. Show hours are:

                                   Friday, March 5 -- 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

                                Saturday, March 6 -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                                 Sunday, March 7 -- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

March 13 - Folly Beach Tides of March - We will be in the Folly River Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 26, 27 and 28 -- The 38th annual Flowertown Festival in Summerville, S.C. This juried art and craft festival is held in Summerville's lovely Azalea Park, usually with the azaleas in full bloom. Show hours are:

                                Friday, March 26 -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                Saturday, March 27 -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                Sunday, March 28 -- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 3 -- The annual Spring Art and Craft Show sponsored by the Edisto Island, S.C., Art Guild. The show is held next to "The Edistonian" on Highway 174 just outside the town of Edisto Beach. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 10 - April in Meggett Arts and Crafts Festival held in the town of Meggett from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

April 17 -- The Sea and Sand Festival Art Show sponsored by the Folly Beach Art Guild and held on the street as you enter Folly Beach from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 21 and 22 -- MUSC Spring Arts and Craft Show on the portico/horseshoe at the Medical University of South Carolina in downtown Charleston. The show is Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 25 and 26 -- "The Art Market at Honey Horn" on Hilton Head Island, S.C., is presented each spring by the Coastal Carolina Museum of Hilton Head Island. This outdoor juried art show is held at historic Honey Horn Plantation under a canopy of live oaks. Show hours are:

                                Saturday, April 24 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                                 Sunday, April 25-- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

May 1 -- The King's Daughters' Edisto Day Bazaar and Art Show at the Edisto Beach, S.C., Lions Club on Myrtle Street on this first Saturday in May. Bazaar hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

May 8 -- The 31st Annual Bluffton Village Festival in Bluffton, S.C. This show is in downtown Bluffton runs from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.

May 29 -- The Firemen's Fish Fry Arts and Craft Show at the Edisto Beach, S.C., Lions Club on Myrtle Street this Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

June 5 -- A "Summer Celebration" Arts and Crafts Show at Folly River Park in Folly Beach. Show hours on this first Saturday in June will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

July 4 -- Celebrate the Nation's birthday with us at the Folly Beach Arts & Crafts Guild's "Summer Celebration" Arts and Crafts Show at Folly River Park. Show hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

August 7 -- "Summer Celebration" Arts and Crafts Show at Folly River Park in Folly Beach. Show hours on this first Saturday in August will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

September 4 --   "Summer Celebration" Arts and Crafts Show at Folly River Park in Folly Beach. Show hours on this Saturday of Labor Day weekend will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

October 9 -- The art show at Trinity Episcopal Church on Edisto Island is part of the "Edisto and Beyond" historic home tour. The show will be from 10 until 4.

October 23 and 24 -- The Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival will take place on Calhoun Street in Old Town Bluffton. The hours are from 10 - 5 on Saturday the 24th and 10 - 4 on Sunday the 25th.

November 12, 13 and 14 -- The Gilmore Craftsmen's Christmas Classic will be held at the State Fair Grounds in Columbia. Show hours are:

                                  Friday -- 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

                                  Saturday -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                                  Sunday -- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

November 19, 20 and 21 -- Christmas made in the South will be held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. Show hours are:

                                   Friday -- 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

                                   Saturday -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

                                   Sunday -- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For reference, the following are the 2009 shows not yet confirmed for 2010:

July 10 - 12 -- Beaufort, SC, Water Festival in the waterfront park in lovely downtown Beaufort. The show is from 12-5 on Friday and 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday.

September 11 and 12 -- The 33rd Annual "Aiken's Makin" arts and crafts festival will be held in downtown Aiken, S.C. This premier juried show kicks off the fall season in a grand way.   Show hours are:

                    Friday, September 11 -- 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.

                    Saturday, September 12 -- 9: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

October 3 -- The Beaufort, SC Shrimp Festival Arts and Crafts Market will be held on Saturday, October 3 from 11:00 to 5:00 in the Waterfront Park in historic downtown Beaufort.

October 17 -- The Edisto Fall Festival Street Fair sponsored by the Edisto Chamber of Commerce will take place on Jungle Road in front of Palmetto Plaza from 11:00 to 4:00.

Saturday, November 14 -- Blessing of the Vines at Irvin House Vineyards, Wadmalaw Island. Come and taste some wine and enjoy the arts and crafts and live music.

Postponed until Saturday, December 19: -- The Folly Beach Christmas Parade Art and Craft Show at Folly River Park. The show is from 10 to 5. The Christmas parade begins around 1 p.m.
