About

My photography adventures began over forty years ago when I participated in a class to learn how to compose, process and print black and white photographs. After that I was fortunate to have a dark room of my own until my husband, John, and I moved aboard our 36 foot sailboat to cruise for six years. I then switched to color print and slide film so I could record our adventures.

When we moved ashore to Edisto Island, South Carolina, my passion for photography turned into a career in nature photography. And, now, twenty years later, I have retired from participating in art shows and selling my photographs. We have downsized our home and I have also downsized my photography equipment to a much smaller and lighter weight mirrorless camera system. However, my passion for nature and for capturing special moments with my camera has in no way diminished!
